International Shipping Addresses

A shipping address that is not within the US or US territories is considered international shipping, such as Mexico, Canada, Japan, EU, etc.

How we confirm your order

When you place an order online, you will receive an automatic order confirmation email and a second email when your order ships which includes a tracking number. If you do not receive these emails, please check your spam folder and make sure you are set to receive emails from [email protected].

If you place an order by phone, fax or mail, there are no automatic emails with tracking numbers generated. However, we will email you your invoice and tracking number for your order.

When will my order ship

Handy Hands typically processes orders with international shipping addresses within 1 to 3 business days of receipt of the order. For orders over $300, please allow additional business days to process. For hours of operation, please check out our Contact Us page.

Once your order has shipped

When an order is shipped, tracking information is sent to the customer. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide the correct shipping address and monitor the progress of their package in transit.

Once a shipment has left domestic handling and entered international borders, Handy Hands is no longer responsible for the tracking of said shipment. All inquiries, from the time of entering international borders, must be taken up by the customer with their local delivery service.

It is the responsibility of the customer to notify Handy Hands of a lost or damaged package in a timely manner.

When your package arrives

When you receive your package, please make sure you received everything you ordered. Please count all your items and make sure nothing is hidden in the packaging.

If anything appears to be missing or incorrect, please check the sales order receipt that came with your box to confirm if an item was canceled.

If all items are correct and match the sales order, but you no longer want one or more of the items, please refer to the International Returns page.

My package is missing

Please check the provided tracking information with your order. If you have a concern that your package is lost, please Contact Us immediately.

It is the responsibility of the customer to provide the correct shipping address, track their package, and notify Handy Hands of a lost or damaged package in a timely manner. Go to the Contact Us page to contact us.

My order has item(s) that are either missing, damaged, or incorrect

Please Contact Us within 2 business days of receipt of order for missing or incorrect items or if any item has been damaged due to shipping.

It is important to us to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase and we will do our best to make things right.

My item is defective

In the rare instance you received a product that appears to be defective, please Contact Us and if possible, please email a picture of the defective product to [email protected].

I wish to make a return or exchange

If you would like to return or exchange an item, please refer either the International Returns page.

International Shipping

Why is international shipping so expensive?

We make every effort to keep the international shipping costs as low as possible for our customers and we pack orders as economically as possible in order to provide the most efficient shipping cost.

Once an order is packed, the actual shipping charges are calculated. If the actual shipping cost is less than the website shipping cost, we will adjust the amount charged to your credit card or send a PayPal refund.

Additionally, we may also check other shipping carriers such as FedEx/UPS to determine if shipping is cheaper through a different carrier.

Shipping Carrier

Orders are typically shipped either FedEx, UPS, or USPS International Priority Mail. Depending on your country, the available carriers may be limited. Please check the shipping options in your shopping cart.

Custom and country fees

For all deliveries outside of the United States, in addition to appropriate international shipping charges, you will be responsible for any and all local taxes, duties, tariffs or other similar charges or imposition associated with your purchase, if any. By placing your order, you are agreeing that you will be responsible for and will pay, as due, all such charges, as applicable.

All applicable customs fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. Customs authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package – the value is the retail cost.  Handy Hands cannot mark any package(s) as a “Gift” in order to avoid customs and duties fees.

Please note that on rare occasions, customs agents may delay the delivery of some packages at their discretion.

Failure to pick-up a package from the post office or failure to pay customs is the responsibility of the customer.

First-time customers with international addresses

For first time customers only, we always confirm via email the actual shipping costs and inquire if the new customer still wishes to continue with the order.  If you place a comment within your order that you accept the shipping costs, we will automatically process your order.

Combining international orders

If we are processing more than one order for you at a time that has the same international shipping address, we will do our best to combine the orders to save on shipping charges. Please keep in mind, this is a manual catch and we have multiple individuals processing your order. Please place a comment with the order or Contact Us as quickly as possible to let us know to combine orders. Please remember, once the order has shipped (a tracking number is sent), then we can no longer combine the orders.

If you do not want orders with the same shipping address combined, please include a comment within the order or Contact Us as soon as possible after placing the order.

International Returns

If you have received items that you are not satisfied with, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • Contact us within 7 days of receipt of order.
  • Refund is for the original purchase price of the product and excludes shipping charges.
  • Additional shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Handy Hands Customer Service authorizes refunds and returns in advance. A return authorization number will be given for the item(s) you wish to return. A return will not be accepted without a return authorization number.
  • All returned products must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition in which it had been received.

Handy Hands reserves the right to refuse the return or can charge a minimum 15% restocking fee if these conditions are not met.

Out of Stock

Notify Me

For out of stock items, a "Notify Me" button can be clicked allowing you to enter your email address. Once signed up for notification, you will receive an automatic email letting you know the item is in stock and available for purchase. By entering your email address in this notification, we do not automatically add your email to any distribution lists.

Back Ordered Items

At this time we do not place out of stock items on back order. If an item on your order is out of stock, the item will be removed from the order and payment adjusted.
